About Kathe King

My name is Kathe King, and I have been helping clients navigate the real estate market since becoming licensed in 1989. Over the years, I have guided buyers and sellers through many different market conditions, from shifting trends to major ups and downs, and I understand that real estate is always changing. My goal is to provide the knowledge, insight, and steady guidance my clients need to make confident decisions in every season of the market. I have the right experience to handle any purchase or sale whether it is a $200,000 condo or a home into the millons. All my clients receive the same care & marketing.

I am licensed in Virginia and Maryland, and my roots in this area run deep. Originally from Maryland, I moved to Virginia in 1979 and have lived in several communities throughout Northern Virginia. I currently call Fairfax City home, which gives me both a personal and professional understanding of the neighborhoods, lifestyles, and opportunities this region has to offer.

One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been working with first-time buyers, many of whom later return to me as their needs change and they become move-up buyers. I believe that buying or selling a home is one of the most important decisions a person can make, and I take the time needed to educate my clients about the process, the current market, and where we believe the market may be heading in the months ahead. I want every client to feel informed, prepared, and supported from start to finish.

Throughout my career, I have been honored with numerous awards from Weichert Realtors and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR), including recognition as a Top Producer and membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. I also serve as a mentor in my office, and I truly enjoy helping newer agents learn the business and build their confidence.

On a personal note, I am the proud mom of two grown sons, Alexander and Alexei, and a happy pet mom to two dogs, Nyla and Bubba, and one kitty, Sphynx. Outside of real estate, I enjoy gardening, antiquing, and volunteering through my church.
